Privacy Policy for Christmas Pixels
Last updated:
This policy explains how information is handled when you use Christmas Pixels (“Christmas Pixels”) or contact Watermelon Man Studio about the app. The Android application ID is com.watermelonman.colorbynumber.christmas.
About the app
Christmas Pixels is a Christmas, New Year, and winter coloring game intended for adults aged 18 and over. It does not require registration or a game account and does not request your date of birth or age category.
Coloring progress and settings are stored on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your saved coloring progress. Google services provide analytics, crash reporting, advertising, privacy consent, and in-app purchases as described below. Android may back up or transfer app data according to your device settings.
Game data on your device
Christmas Pixels stores coloring progress, the action history used to create coloring videos, remaining tools, unlocked pictures, and whether full access has been confirmed. It also stores settings, information about new pictures, and random reward identifiers that prevent an advertising reward from being granted twice.
These records let you resume coloring, use unlocked content, keep your settings, and create images or videos. Game pictures are included in the app. Your saved picture pixels and coloring history are not uploaded to a Watermelon Man Studio server or sent as analytics events.
Android backup and device transfer
Android backup is enabled. Depending on your Android version and system settings, the operating system may include the app's database and settings in cloud backups or transfers to another device. Temporary cache files are excluded from ordinary Android Auto Backup. Backup copies are managed by the operating system and its backup service.
You can manage available backup and restore options in your device settings. See Android's Auto Backup information.
Advertising and privacy choices
Christmas Pixels uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for rewarded advertising. You may choose to watch an ad to unlock a picture or replenish tools. Advertising content may load in advance while you use the app, including in the gallery and during gameplay, before you choose to watch an ad.
Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, interactions with ads and the app, diagnostic information, and available device or account identifiers. These data support advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. Processing depends on the service configuration, your privacy choices, device settings, and applicable requirements. Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. See Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) updates consent information before ad requests and shows a consent form when required. Where offered, the app's privacy settings let you revisit your advertising and analytics choices. The form identifies the relevant advertising partners. Ad availability and personalization depend on your choices and the service settings.
Purchasing full access removes offers to watch rewarded ads. Purchase checks, privacy consent, and permitted analytics may still operate after the purchase.
Analytics and your choices
Christmas Pixels uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app use and improve its features. Analytics collection starts disabled and is enabled only after the UMP flow permits analytics. Where consent is required, analytics remains disabled until the applicable permission is obtained. Where UMP confirms that consent is not required, analytics may be enabled.
Where the privacy choices form is offered in settings, you can change or withdraw analytics permission there. Withdrawal stops collection and resets local Firebase Analytics data. This does not automatically delete information already sent to Google. Events that occur while analytics is disabled are not queued by the app for later submission.
Analytics includes picture opens, completions and resets, time spent on the visible gameplay screen, successful tool use, advertising outcomes, purchase and restore outcomes, and opening the sharing menu. Google may also collect standard session and purchase events, app and device information, approximate location, and an app-instance identifier that distinguishes installations. These records are separate from your saved coloring progress. We do not send picture pixels, coloring video files, payment tokens, names, email addresses, or a developer-assigned user ID as analytics event parameters.
The app disables Advertising ID collection for Firebase Analytics. Google's advertising SDK handles its own data separately. Analytics information is sent to Google and made available to Watermelon Man Studio through reports. See Google's Analytics data disclosure and Firebase privacy information.
Crash reports and diagnostics
Christmas Pixels uses Firebase Crashlytics to investigate crashes and application-not-responding (ANR) errors and improve app stability. Reports can include stack traces, app version and state, device model, Android version, memory and storage information, and installation identifiers. When analytics is permitted, reports may also include the analytics events leading up to an error. We do not attach a developer-assigned user ID, email address, saved pictures, or coloring video files to crash reports.
Automatic report upload is disabled. Crashlytics can save diagnostic information locally, and the app requests upload of reports from earlier sessions only after the current privacy flow permits analytics. Crash reporting follows the same permission decision as analytics, including where UMP confirms that consent is not required. If analytics is not permitted, the app asks Crashlytics to delete pending reports. Changing your choice cannot cancel an upload already requested, queued, or completed. Clearing app data removes locally stored reports.
Reports are sent to Google and made available to Watermelon Man Studio through Firebase. See Firebase's data disclosure and Firebase privacy information.
Purchases
Full access is a one-time purchase through Google Play Billing. The app obtains product and price information, checks purchase status, and acknowledges purchases through Google Play. Purchase tokens are used when acknowledging a purchase. The local database stores whether full access has been confirmed.
Google Play handles payments and payment details. Christmas Pixels does not receive your bank or card details. Purchase restoration is associated with your Google Play account. Clearing local game data does not cancel a purchase or delete Google Play's purchase history. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Postcards, images, and videos you share
Christmas Pixels creates PNG or GIF images, greeting postcards, and MP4 videos on your device and places them in temporary app storage. Greeting text you enter is processed on your device to compose the postcard and may be included in the image or animation and in the text passed to the app you choose for sharing. We do not send greeting text or postcard contents to our own server or include them in analytics event parameters. Please include only information you want the recipient to receive. When you choose to share a file, Android gives your selected app or service access to that specific file. The recipient handles it under its own privacy practices. Sharing the app from settings sends the game name and a Google Play link.
The option to rate the app opens Google Play, which handles any rating or review you submit.
Permissions and diagnostics
Christmas Pixels does not request access to contacts, the camera, the microphone, precise location, or broad device storage. Network access supports Google's advertising, consent, analytics, crash reporting, and purchase services. Google's advertising SDK may also process diagnostic and interaction information as described above.
Support messages
If you email us for support or a privacy request, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve your request. Please send only the information needed for your request.
Support email is hosted by Gmail. We retain support messages and attachments until the request is resolved, then delete them.
Storage and deletion
Local game data remains in app storage until you reset the relevant picture, clear app data in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Resetting a picture deletes its coloring progress and video history. Clearing app data removes local game data and settings. Android may clear temporary cache files automatically.
Google Analytics retains user-level and event-level information according to the retention settings of our Analytics property and Google’s deletion cycle. Retention may restart when there is new activity. Standard aggregated reports may be retained for longer. Contact us for information about the current retention settings. See Google's explanation of Analytics retention.
Firebase states that Crashlytics retains crash stack traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting removal from its live and backup systems. See Firebase's retention information.
Local deletion does not cancel a Google Play purchase or automatically delete information already sent to Google. Android backups and files shared with another app are managed separately; restoring a backup may restore previously saved game data. Google manages retention for its advertising, consent, purchase, and backup services under its policies and settings.
For information Google holds, consult the Google Privacy Policy and Google Account data and privacy controls. Contact us for requests about information we hold, including support messages. We may need additional information to identify a relevant record and may be unable to identify a particular user's data held by another service. We do not receive your saved local coloring progress.
Third-party services and international processing
Google provides Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Mobile Ads, User Messaging Platform, Google Play Billing, and related Google Play services. Advertising partners identified in the applicable consent form may process advertising information. Android backup services and any app you choose for sharing may receive information as described above.
These providers may process information in countries other than where you live, under their own privacy practices. See how Google uses information from apps and sites and Google's advertising information.
Your rights and children
There is no separate Christmas Pixels account to delete. You can reset pictures, clear app data, uninstall the app, manage Android backup and privacy controls, and revisit privacy choices where offered.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before it.
Christmas Pixels is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. This intended audience is separate from the store content rating. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the request and delete information we hold where appropriate.
Security and policy changes
Game data is held in the app's private storage. File sharing grants access to the selected file through Android's sharing mechanism. Third-party services apply their own security measures. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
We may update this policy as app features or data practices change. The revised policy will be posted at the same address with an updated date.
